Kavalan Trail Run (2026)

Taking place on August 29, 2026, this event centers on local historic trails like the Pingxi Trail and Shikong Trail in Wai'ao, Yilan. With categories for 25K, 17K, 11K, and a 4K family group, the course blends natural mountain paths, ocean-view ridges, and historic ruins, inviting you to write your own journey through time on foot.

⚠️ Race Update: Due to recent weather conditions and to ensure participant safety, the planned water route section of the Pingxi Trail is canceled. On race day, participants will instead be diverted to the adjacent trail route.

When passing through this area, all participants must:

• ❌ Strictly refrain from choosing alternative routes or entering the water to ensure personal safety and avoid veering off the official course.
• ➡️ Follow the designated trail route provided by the event organizers.
• ➡️ Strictly follow the on-site arrows and trail markers to guide your way.
